I am not hearing noise on the radio. That issue has been solved. Infact both the 89 & 97 Dodge Caravans I always had some ignition noise (spark plus, etc), but the radio in the 2014 is fairly quiet on AM, but some not very sensitive. Of course if I increase the sensitivity, possibly the the car noise will get into the radio more.

Patrick, I agree with Steve.  Any new car I've driven (my own, and rental)
have generally been pretty poor on AM.  I just drove a Nissan Leaf
electric, and it was simply awful on AM.  Everytime I accelerated, I could
hear all of the electronics whirring and wining, even on strong stations.
