[IRCA] TP 24 Feb Victoria version

A fairly wild morning between 1400 and about 1450UT, mostly above 
1200 kHz, and a lot more hints of audio than I would have 
liked....many carriers, so close.


pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, 
at least briefly):


594 JOAK,man in Japanese,1444UT
747 JOIB man in Japanese //774 1319UT, not nearly so good later, 
though did barely hear the s/off music box at 1541UT
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1510UT; still around for s/off at 1540UT, but weak


Reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it 
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1503 JOUK man in Japanese //594 1444UT




not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or 
noise could be understood by a native speaker:

702 NHK2 woman and man tlaking, English lessons //774 1427UT
828 JOBB man in Japanese //747 1319UT
972 HLCA man in Korean 1432UT
1422 JORF assumed; man and woman in Japanese, erratic fading 1434UT
1566 HLAZ man in Korean 1651UT, violin music, faded slightly by 
1700UT, delivered 3 and 1 pips, familiar theme music, bit of Korean 
talk, then fading.  Local sunrise nearly two hours before.




Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be 
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in 
talk or music)

1134 man talking Japanese inflection 1431UT
1215 slow vocal music 1433UT
1242 man talking, Japanese inflection 1439UT
1287 man mumbling, Japanese inflection 1649UT
1314 woman talking, Japanese inflection, 1424UT
1332 man talking Japanese?? 1436 and 1441 UT
1386 NHK2 woman talking //774 1441UT
1458 unID. Classical sounding music after man talking 1447UT, 
possibly Japanese?
1539 NHK2 woman mumbling //774 1450UT
1593 NHK2 woman talking 1448UT //774



Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or 
ravaged by splatter)

567 711 909 1017 1044 1089  1116 1179  1269 1431 1494  1512 1575 
seemed to be Asian;   no  likely DU?
