Nick,
The SW EWE is aimed at about 240 degrees and the WNW one is at 280
degrees. The 40 degree spread apparently does make a difference. The
pattern might be a bit different too as the SW EWE is 22X100X22 and the
WNW one is 25X55X25. But the null to the E/SE is quite good.
