Bill,
If Mike is right and a lot of stations move to a new FM Band, then AM
may survive a lot better without the crowded spectrum. One reason a lot
of stations go under, is there are too many. There are only so much
money in ad dollars and the cost of running any business it going
nothing but up. Maybe the high costs also will weed out a lot of the
QRM. I am not convinced that BPL or IBOC will be around 5 years from
now. People have to be willing to buy into that. If they don't, then it
will be not an issue.
