[IRCA] Another Radio

Greeting.

I have been playing with an old Sony ICF 5700 for DX, but it needs a good 
cleaning and overhaul. So I ordered a Grundig S235 (>) online. It arrived 
yesterday, nd I began playing with it as soon as I opened the box. Now I can 
put my Sony in the shop for that overhaul.

It appears to be better on Short Wave than my old Sony, and the NCB seems to 
close to call at present. It was great to hear many of the standard night 
time lead pipe cinches for good receivers! I confess to listening to more of 
my old friends last night (Short Wave stations).

It seems than many more stations and frequencies are being used from my last 
DX in 1983! WOW!! The dial is just jammed!!! It will be strange no hearing 
the Communist party line via programming, tirades and diatribes. I think it 
is only Cuba and North Korea now. I do have several QSLs of Radio Moscow via 
Havana on 600kz. Even in the daytime I heard them!

I can see I will be ading many new stations (and countries of Short Wave) as 
I listed more the next several months of the DX season!
