I don't know the best times for the Chinese-language broadcasts of China
Radio International, but for Radio Taiwan, they broadcast in Chinese on
5950 kHz for a few hours before 0200 UTC (10PM New York time).
If you want some nice Chinese music on CRI, the program "China Roots" (in
English) airs Saturdays at 1100 UTC on 6040 kHz.
