How dare you suggest there's an agenda in the BBC's programming! If you
keep it up, you'll send certain of the list members into a frothing fury!
My favorite was a BBC newsreader using, in a news story in the five-minute
news at the top of the hour, using phrasing similar to, "The bombing,
which [the] Americans claim shortened the war,...." The sentence sounded
as though it had been shoehorned into the report with the intention of
trying to direct the listener into thinking the bombing was wholly wrong.
