Fighting for the VOA (Was: Re: [Swprograms] Re: Tomlinson coming up)

Paul:

Would you (and any others from outside the USA) be willing to craft some
text that helps explain how the VOA has contributed to your understanding of
the USA and world afairs over the years?

I don't think NASWA or other USA-based shortwave "hobby" clubs will take an
advocacy position regarding the VOA as we did with broadband-over-powerline,
but I (for one) wish to help elevate the visibility of the VOA's predicament
to the key national media as well as the relevant members of the US
Congress.
