[IRCA] TP 14 Aug Victoria version

Asia earlier on, but became more a high band Australian opening as 1300UT approached.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not quite, though 738 was very close a couple of times

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

738 Tahiti assumed, pop vocal 1237UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1053 Korean jammer 1153UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

774 JOUB pips at 1200UT, couple of men talking beforehand, one with Japanese inflection
972 slow vocal music 1143UT
1539 woman talkin 1302UT, DU English inflection
1548 4QD man talking 1258UT, then woman, DU English inflection, clinched by ABC fanfare on hour
1566 choral singing 1236UT, assumed HLAZ, but a mix of talk by 1253UT
1611/1629 music on 1611, slightly delayed on 1629, both at 1259UT, man talking briefly at 1301UT, more music, then man talking again 1304UT, followed by woman at 1305UT
1638 unID, man talking 1259-1301UT, pretty murky, no hope of ID

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

 747 756 1098 1116 1287 1314 1332 1422 1476 1503 1593

best wishes,

Nick
