[IRCA] TP 14 Aug Victoria version
A fair bit of a fall back from yesterday; mostly Asian still
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ firing up the Japanese program at 1230UT. Chinese program
preceding was quite a bit weaker
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB...English lessons 1122UT
828 JOBB woman in Japanese //774 1229UT, only briefly at this level though
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above, passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 JOIB woman talking 1127UT //774
909 ballad 1313UT, Star?
972 HLCA man and woman talking after pop music 1115UT, Korean inflection?
1242 western pop music 1138UT; woman Japanese inflection 1209UT...likely JOLF?
1575 woman talking , man on phone, too weak to guess language 1235UT,
but might be VoA?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
594 837 891 1206 1287 1323 1422 1503 1593 seemed to be Asian;
567 576 594 702 891 1035 1044 1098 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
