Nick -
Yes, my tablet is 32 bit - I forgot to mention that.
I think NTVDM is a false alarm for 32 bit
Geoclock installations. It isn't needed in that
case, but is needed for the 16 bit version.
GeoClock 9.0 shipped with both 16 and 32 bit exe
files so someone's earlier comment that 9.0 is 32 bit is not totally correct.
BTW, the documentation for 9.0 says "Release of
64 bit compatable version (geockw32.exe)". That
means your 8.2 is 16 bit and no, 64 bit versions
of Windows (7,8 or 10) won't tun it. Let me know if you want 9.0.
Chuck

I guess your tablet is 32-bit isn't it
Chuck? My understanding is that a 64-bit
Windows OS doesn't support NTVDM, but I haven't
tried to pursue it. Certainly, Geoclock 8.2
(the latest that I have) doesn't work on my own
W7 64-bit laptop, and NTVDM isn't available either.
I was going to suggest another virtual machine to
Sylvain (though I guess he still would need the
Geoclock install files?). One could run XP in
something like Virtual Box, as that arrangement
runs my old Geoclock just fine. It is one more
darn thing to start up, but it has allowed me to
use otherwise non-functioning programs when using
later Windows operating systems.
best wishes,
Nick
