Re: [IRCA] 1500 KHz "Mystery Station"

On the evening of February 6, 2016 around 2335 UTC I checked 1500 kHz. Heard noise in the upper sideband. The noise wasn't heard in the lower sideband. To me the noise sounded like IBOC hash.

Most of us are using bi-directional (simple) loops, but weâre spread out

the location pretty quickly. Assuming that the culprit is a licensed
broadcaster with transmitter problem, there are a limited number of
suspects.

Anyone have time to try this?

I had WFED in pretty well at first look around 1730 ET with no sign of

definitely looping west of WFED.

The âwarblerâ was on again tonightâaudible from just after 5PM until I

their
sidebands.

Signal wasnât quite as strong tonight as last, but still easy copyâand
at
times dominating the channel.
