Based on Guyâs EZNEC modeling Iâve decided to get a FLG100LN-2 instead of the ALA100LN. I already have a flag constructed, and itâs mounted alongside my wooden privacy fence to favor the Western US. Since âKâ calls from the West are my primary interest, it makes sense to keep a uni-directional antenna, instead of converting it to bi-directionalâespecially since it seems it would be easy to make it bi-directional should the need arise in the future. 

Canât wait to try it.
