[IRCA] TP 24 Mar Victoria version

An odd mix this morning, but certainly better than the last couple of days, though only HLAZ managed more than a "barely there" signal.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

no

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1566 HLAZ piano mx and woman in JJ, s/off for Japanese program 1344UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

594 woman talking, Japanese inflection 1343UT
612 man an woman talking, DU English inflection
702 woman and man talking 1238UT, DU English?
738 woman talking, French inflection 1204UT
747 sounded like English lessons, but pretty far down in the mud 1338UT
792 woman talking, DU English inflection 1205UT
828 man talking 1211UT, maybe DU English inflection
891 man talking, DU English inflection 1311UT
1116 two men talking 1339UT, DU English?
1422 bassy pop music, 1349UT, woman talking, Japanese inflection?
1575 man talking to another man on phone, didn't sound like VoA, more like Tagalog??? 1340UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

567 774 846 1134 1242 1314 1386 1512 1593

best wishes,

Nick
