[IRCA] TP 11 Mar Victoria version

Back to the doldrums for sure, but I also started recording earlier, and 1230-1245UT was pretty vigorous, then a drop off in signal strength, followed by a further drop off after 1330UT, with a brief revival of the old predictables just after 1400UT

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

972 HLCA man in KK 1237UT
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1433UT, best on north Flag as usual; woman in JJ at 1234UT was pretty powerful as well. This one was still delivering a bit of choral mx as late at 1613UT, but everything (including 1570 and 1580) fell off the map a couple of minutes later.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 and 774 with EE lessons 1239UT, 828 popped up to this level at 1244UT; didn't really return to this level until after 1400UT, and then only for a short time
1053 KK jammer 1233UT
1287 JOHR man in JJ 1231UT; was in as late as 1534UT, but fairly weak.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 JOIK man in JJ 1303UT
594 JOAK man in JJ 1322UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

612 man and woman talking, DU EE inflection 1354UT
738 Tahiti? pop mx 1328UT
891 JOHK presumed w/man talking //567 at 1234UT
945 man and woman talking 1235UT, thought JJ inflection, but didn't seem //567
981 man talking, buried u/980 splash 1335UT
1134 pop mx 1240UT
1116 man talking DU EE inflection 1342UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

621 873 918 1017 1044 1152 1179 1197 1206 1242 1251 1269 1323

best wishes,

Nick
