[IRCA] WKDO 1560 kHZ Liberty KY

You are probably right, Russ.  But I would think that the Paducah, KY station might be a little upset about it.

Same reason many stations do - either they figure, usually rightly, they can get away with it or they have automation malfunctions or mis-programming they're not aware of, or else they're just plain unaware of the rules. Mostly, my money would be on the first.

 WKDO is the dominant (although weak) station here on 1560 after the VA & NC daytimers sign off around 1800 EST (in Feb).  So, why do they NOT sign off at local sunset?  I have no clue.
