[IRCA] TP 22 Nov Victoria version

Things are improving, and on top of that, a nice little sunrise enhancement as well.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not quite; 594 was very clear, but too weak to justify calling it really good

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man in JJ various times from 1404UT onwards, reached this strength at 1459UT, talking across hour, no pips, another man giving a report. Earthquake in Nagano an hour before may have taken over from regular programming?

1566 HLAZ man in CC peaked at this level 1512UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

603 HLSA deep voiced man in KK 1510UT; first appearance of the morning a couple of minutes earlier
738 Tahiti? pop mx 1354UT
774 JOUB man in JJ 1403UT; heard briefly at this level as late as 1523UT, man and woman in JJ, but off the cliff by 1525UT
828 JOBB man in JJ 1355UT, //774 which was weaker just then

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 HLKC man talking 1508UT //603
756 female ballad 1423UT
891 JOHK man talking 1420UT //594
1116 unID. man talking 1507UT, seemed more CC than EE, but by 1509UT,two stations?, one being EE?
1503 JOUK man talking, erratic fading, //594, 1514UT
1575 VoA? man talking 1513-14UT, SE Asian inflection?
1593 CNR1 woman in CC //6125 1515UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

612 702 747 1098 1134

best wishes,

Nick
