[IRCA] TP reception in Seattle on Oct 11

It was generally a good morning for TPs here. I found it to be similar to the past few days, with decent signals from the low band NHK stations and the usual Koreans. Except for CNR-981, I didn't have any sign of the Chinese enhancement reported by Gary.

Unlike Gary and Dennis, I didn't have a blockbuster signal on 657. Here, it was mostly just a carrier buried in domestic splatter and only occasionally produced a few syllables of talk. On the other hand, I did hear the North Koreans on 819 and 873 again.

There were lots of low-mid band carriers today, many of them teasing me with tantalizingly weak audio. Things were quite dull above 1200. HLAZ-1566 was the only station producing much of anything.

Still producing audio (woman talking) after 1430 981 CNR1, best signal of the season 1200 & 1300 with ads, 2 sets of pips, more talk. Also good 1413 with echoey talk. Good-nil at other times.
