It was a wild and wacky morning here for Asian DX, with low-band Chinese stations the stars of the session. Some highlights were 738-BEL2 with far and away its best audioÂof the new season (on an S7 run from 1353-1402, fighting it out withÂa Mainland Chinese co-channel at times), 639-CNR1 and 657-Pyongyang with their seasonal best audio (the latter a mixed blessing), 603-HLSA withÂanother excellent signal around 1333, 747-JOIB maxing out the PL-380 S/N for 3 minutes around 1345, and the first decent audio from 936-China (presumed Anhui). Conditions seemed to be great all over-- I'm glad that Richard was finally able to receive something besides 774-JOUB this morning :-)
