[IRCA] TP 12 Aug Victoria version
No high band Aussies here, but quite a mess of lower band things,
with a couple of Asians mixing it up with mainly tentative and weak
New Zealand.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ fade up through JJ s/on announcement to this level at
1233UT, with woman in JJ. Considerably weaker an hour previously,
maybe w/CC talk
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
HLAZ passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1287 JOHR man in JJ 1127UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
567 R NZ National. Male vocal mx 1209 //756 but offset by a couple of seconds
675 R. NZ National man in what sounded like DU EE 1238UT, and seemed //567
702 man talking DU EE? 1159UT, down by 1200UT, back 1211UT and a
couple of other times
738 Tahiti? vocal pop mx 1222UT
756 woman singing 1122UT, maybe //675 which was really weak.
774 man & woman talking, maybe two stations1123UT
819 man talking 1206UT DU EE?
828 instrumental mx 1156UT, a few very faint Aussie sounding pips on hour
882 laid back male vocal 1214UT (Southern Star?)
891 ? woman declaiming 1225UT, didn't sound DU?
909 laid back vocal mx 1116UT, maybe Southern Star, but no parallels available
1008 man talking 1225UT, DU EE?
1116 man talking 1121UT, DU EE?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
747 837 864 972 1035 1098 1107 1134 1179 1323 1503 1548
best wishes,
Nick
