Unfortunately, Nick, there is an S9+ spur right on 1510 kHz here from the local Korean language pest 1450-KSUH in Puyallup, WA, which wipes out 1512 completely.
The station has been fined by the FCC on numerous occasions for problems such as this (and for other violations of FCC maintenance rules), but apparently the budget cutbacks in the rule enforcement division have allowed the Korean owners to have one of the dirtiest signals around.
