Hello All,
Asian signals weren't quite as numerous today as they were yesterday morning, but both low and high band TP's did show up during another generous sunrise enhancement (from 1510-1550), with a few stations managing even better signals.
On the low band both 594-JOAK and 648-VOR had improved signals over yesterday, with 594 fairly potent for much of the session. 648-VOR's Korean service wasn't around much at all until about 1545, when it suddenly rose up to a vibrant level before collapsing along with the other low-band TP's as sunrise enhancement fizzled around 1547. Yesterday's 603-China was pretty much missing in action except for a few seconds of ghostly Chinese, with a rather anemic HLSA holding down the frequency with its long-set easy listening music (and deep-voiced Korean male announcer). Yesterday's 558-HLQH, 639-CNR1 and 738-BEL2 were all missing in action this morning, and the NHK big guns on 693, 747, 774 and 828 were anemic at best. 972-HLCA was also at a paltry level, in comparison to yesterday's huge signal.
The Chinese were the only real bright spot on the high band with 1377-CNR1 and 1593-CNR1 both having potent signals around 1540. In comparison to yesterday 1593-CNR1 was getting through the Seattle splatter at a much better level, managing its best signal ever here with Chinese music // 6125 at 1542. Unlike yesterday there were no vibrant signals from either 1566-HLAZ or 1575-VOA, so the Chinese were pretty much going against the high band propagation trend. Sunrise enhancement kept the unusually potent 1593-CNR1 going until around 1550, finishing up as the last TP signal during the strange morning.
