A much more staid morning today on the DX front. Makes me glad I
spent the quality time yesterday digging out the DX, because there
wasn't much digging to be had today.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
not today
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB weather broadcast, all that was left on the band at 1304UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti pop mx 1258UT, FF talk by man, then woman, battling with splash
747 JOIB EE lessons 1252UT
1566 HLAZ man in JJ 1254UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
612 4QR? woman talking DU EE inflection, almost sure I heard the
cadence of "ABC news" at 1300UT
828 JOBB EE lessons 1253UT //747
891 JOHK? man talking 1256UT JJ inflection?
1287 JOHR? woman talking JJ inflection 1254UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
909 972 1008 1116 1179 1323
best wishes,
Nick
