Glenn-
VON-860 was logged by Mark Connelly about a week ago (Friday 8/27 I believe) from Orleans, Cape Cod, MA with his Perseus & car rooftop antenna. I don't recall the exact time but probably around 2330-0000 UTC. I'm sure details will be in DXM & DXN soon.

We already had news of this in the Aug 4 issue of DX LISTENING DIGEST, 10-31.
ltho replete with SW info, DXLD also strives to cover significant developments
n MW and other bands, so I would encourage you to read it regularly. And/or
isten to my WORLD OF RADIO, where this was also reported.

No, you didn`t and surely not for any other DXer in the world! 895 was
n unique frequency, free of co-channel QRM, and often could be heard
n NAm. Now it will be much tougher against all the 860 stations. What
n the world were they thinking? Yeah, I know, all those used caradios
hat won`t tune split channels (Glenn Hauser, WORLD OF RADIO 1524, DX
