[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-4

Hello All,

In general the Asiatic TP signals were Ultra Light this morning, and what
audio that showed up was mostly from Korea-- the good, the bad and the
ugly. 972-HLCA made its first weak appearance this season, and the 1053-Korean
Jammer was back with unusually potent signals. As usual, 1566-HLAZ was the
star of the morning. For the rest of Asia, though, it seems like another
forgettable early-season session.

The following were heard on a C.Crane SWP Slider (7.5" loopstick)
inductively coupled to a 7.5' sided PVC tuned passive loop in the back yard:

594 JOAK Tokyo, Japan Weak Japanese audio in and out around 1312
657 R. Pyongyang, N. Korea Male Korean tirade, 1307 (the ugly)

666 JOBK Osaka, Japan The strongest of the sleeping Japanese this
morning
747 JOIB Sapporo, Japan Fair Japanese signals through KXL splatter
around 1315
972  HLCA  Dangjin, S. Korea  Strong signal but  seemingly under-modulated;
weak at 1325
1053 Korean Jammer (unknown location) Buzzing along with good strength
around 1328 (the bad)
1134 JOQR Tokyo, Japan Weaker than usual this week; threshold audio in
and out
1566 HLAZ Jeju, S. Korea Vibrant Japanese YL talk at 1329 during
religious program; out of
character for lacluster propagation (the good):

1575 VOA Ban Rassom, Thailand Weak Asiaitc language audio around 1302

For those ULR DXers looking for strong Asiatic signals, this would have
been a nice morning to sleep in.

73 and Good DX,
Gary DeBock
