Listened from 1250 to 1310UT again, and things were pretty much exclusively Asian; HLAZ wasn't so strong today, but first audio heard on an undermodulated 972. Signals are still weak, and I need to use the ALA100 to hear low band signals best, as the Flags run out of sensitivity there.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
279 R. Rossii
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker
774 JOUB
828 JOBB
HLAZ-1566
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
234 just a hint of talk //279, R. Rossii
594 seemed JOAK by direction and inflection; maybe a second station there?
747 JOIB //828
972 big carrier, man talking, likely HLCA
1134 faint long pip on the hour, maybe JOQR?
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
1053 Asiatic; 1098 no direction possible
best wishes,
Nick
