[IRCA] TP for 27 Aug from Victoria, BC

Listened from 1250 to 1310UT, perhaps the liveliest morning yet, a mix of Asiatic and DU, with most signals heard only briefly, and not very strongly. HLAZ was again the biggest.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

none

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

HLAZ-1566 w/man in JJ at 1250UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker

none

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

594 seemed JOAK by direction
612 later on, 4QR by direction
702 at 1309, DU direction, so 2BL
747 later on, JOIB by direction
774 JOUB by direction
828 JOBB by direction
846 DU by direction, woman talking in the murk; 2RN likely; not too strong a carrier so well modulated?

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

972, 1287, 1575 Asiatic; 567, 639, 1098 DU

best wishes,

Nick
