[IRCA] More HD Radio on AM Coming to Everett/Seattle!

KRKO Debuts Expanded Signal Monday
After years of battling to get to build its new tower array, S-R
BROADCASTING Sports KRKO-A (NORTHSOUND 1380)/EVERETT, WA is finally
switching on its 34,000 watts daytime/50,000 watts nighttime signal with HD
RADIO and is adding THE CONTENT FACTORY/FOX SPORTS RADIO's DAN PATRICK for
6-9a, all starting MONDAY (2/23). The station, which recently added
PREMIERE's JIM ROME and THE CONTENT FACTORY's TONY BRUNO and is a FOX SPORTS
RADIO affiliate, is also planning to expand local afternoon host JEFF "THE
FISH" AARON from 3-6p to 3-7p PT.
"These are the heavyweights of sports talk radio," said KRKO GM ANDY
SKOTDAL. "Our hosts get the high-profile guests, including commissioners,
managers, and players that cause even casual fans to pause and listen until
the interviews are over. It's compelling content."
