Re: [IRCA] Google Earth as a DX Aid

When I flew to the NW for the convention at Seaside and a WONDERFUL Grayland DX session, I took my E1, a Lowe HF-150 & a 7600G. I also took two spools of wire. I had no problems with TSA then. I went ot Vancouver Island for a couple of days afterward. Customs was a breeze, going & coming. I have flown regularly with the 7600G and/or a 2010, plus a digital camera and have had no problems.

Relating to the Blaine crossing story, when I lived in Oregon in the '70s, I used the Aldergrove & Sumas border crossings into & back from B.C. with no problems. I was advised at the time to avoid Blaine due to persnickety Customs folks.

73 & Good DX!
