Thanks for your detailed DU audio and carrier reports. As read by
someone unenthusiastic about getting up at 0430 to chase DX, they were most
interesting.
Concerning 1YA-756 (New Zealand) having its best audio 5 minutes after
sunrise, the same thing happened last Sunday at Grayland, with 2YA-567. On a
mediocre morning, no DU audio was heard right up until sunrise, but 2YA-567
finally reached audio level on the modified ICF-2010 about 5 minutes after
sunrise, and stayed pretty level for about 10 minutes of mp3 recording after
that, much to my surprise. The Aussie frequencies were much weaker.
