[IRCA] AM station causes fire on Catalina Island

KABC TV has reported that the fire on Catalina Island, California -- may have started  near a radio transmitter site.   KBRT - AM 740 -- a 10 KW daytime station has been silent -- for two days.   However -- an open carrier has been heard -- during the daytime  -- from 735 to 740 Khz -- in Southern California.
