Re: [IRCA] WA STATE TIS/HAR INFO

PLEASE read the [IRCA] mailing list guidelines at http://www.ircaonline.org/guidelines.htm

Dennis,

I have the Quinault Forest TIS QSL'd from years back. I have several
from NW WA.
I have had a time finding addresses for some TIS. I remember back in
the 80s when I logged "The National Bison Range" on 1610. I had no idea
where that was until I did a search and found it was in NW Montana. They
used to be common. I got an address and sent them a report. I got a nice
verie letter back. I have done a lot of phoning to run them down.
Another one was 2 TIS stations on 1620 in Western Virginia. There may
have been more than that on the tape, but getting bits of audio with
broken sentences, the ID was tough to catch, but I finally got it. I got
them both QSL'd too. Boy, I would sure love to re-live those days.
TIS/HAR stations are fun. I should go after more of them.

Patrick
