With work commitments, I only had a brief session between 14:11 and 14:43. Darn it, as I had some insomnia and was up at 4:30 AM local....should have headed upstairs to the radio room instead back to bed! In any case, most of the action was on the lower half of the band, and clearly better than the other mornings recently. Lots of audios on the bottom half, especially China and Korea. The Japanese were there, but not exceptionally strong. HLCA 972 was the best I've heard them in weeks. The only audio above 981 kHz were HLAZ and VOA on 1566 and 1575 but only poorly. I heard audio on: 558, 567, 594, 657, 666, 675, 693, 729, 738, 747, 774, 828, 846, 873, 972 (the best of the bunch), 1566 and 1575. I did observe that adjacent local splatter was pretty awful this morning, despite some strong hets. Worse than average there. Otherwise, not at all bad. Should have been up earlier, and stayed around longer. Total of 17 audios........Walt Salmaniw, Victoria.
