Re: [IRCA] Cuba on 530 right now, midnite EDT?

Patrick,

I am far from the most knowledgeable on the stationing of the EC-130
Commando Solo aircraft but, each time before a broadcast the aircraft does
indeed fly south from their normal base of operations to NAS Key West, from
where they launch their broadcast mission. I know this from reports of
other FL DXers -- notably a fellow from Satellite Beach -- who follow the
flight communications. He may have reported the flight origination but on
a quick check of past messages I did not find anything specific.

I've not seen any reports of direct evidence regarding the FM and TV
operations. Not to say such doesn't exist, it just isn't something to
which I've been paying attention.
