Hi all, it's about the season where a person with a pretty powerful
radio, in the San Francisco bay area can hear several Japanese stations
with a portable like a g e super radio, and I heard 774 this morning,
for about 20 minutes from about 6 20 till about 6 40 pacific time. The
774 I heard seems to run little 15 to 30 minute programs, and over the
years that I have heard them, they run lots of English lessons. The
only station I know on 774 is j o u b in Akita, but I understand
there's another Japanese station on that frequency. I remember one
morning, some years ago, there was a large earth quake on the island of
Hokaido, pardon the spelling, and the 774 I got, kept referring to
Hokaido, but I wonder if j o u b was trying to serve Hokaido after the
earth quake? I presently have a g e super radio 3 that I use, and
also, a g e super radio 2, but its' tuner is dirty, and I don't know of
anybody who can fix it, and it is so dirty, I can't really use it on A
M. I got the 774 on my super radio 3 this morning, so it must have
been awfully strong.
Marty
