Actually, doesn't this all end up published in the IRCA "DX Monitor" and 
archives?  Maybe not the most easily searchable, but not exactly lost, either.

I do think Craig's proposal has great merit, though, just as Scott says.

As regards the past complaints, I think little good purpose is ever served 
by suggesting controls on what should and shouldn't be submitted to or 
allowed on the list.  Unless a topic is completely irrelevant or 
argumentative, suggestions to ban said topic should always be rejected out 
of hand, in a free and open organization.
