[IRCA] WALE-990 still off

WALE still off as of 11:20pm EST.  I doubt they will be back before 
morning.
If they aren't back by mid-day, I'll give them another call.  I'm just
astounded that with at least two transmitters and six towers to play 
with,
they don't have something on the air. Even 250w non-directional would be
worth doing.

*** I monitored 990 Friday morning from 0500-0620 EST.  Nothing 
surprising or impressive heard.  WLGZ quite dominant with NOS format & 
frequent IDs & jingles, WNTP made an occasional appearance during a 
WLGZ fade, CKGM dominant around 0610-0625 with hockey talk.  No sign of 
CBY or anything else IDable.  One mystery: heard the Star Spangled 
Banner loud & clear at 0600 but no sign-on announcement.  The SSB was 
followed by dead air & intro music & then faded into the mush.  If WALE 
is still off tomorrow, it'll be interesting to see if anything can be 
heard in the 10am - 2pm period.

-  Onkohan näiden valmistus jo lopetettu vuosia sitten, kun ei näytä hyllyssä olevan?
-  Joo, ei niitä enää vuosiin ole ollut saatavilla.
 
Arvatkaapa, millainen ihmettely syntyi, kun kannoin marraskuussa postiin nipun postin äänikirjeitä, joissa on kasetin kuva päällä ja ikileima präntättynä! Vaikkakaan niissä ei kasettia sisällä asemille ollut, kuoret ovat käyttökelpoista tavaraa. Onneksi paikalla oli eläkeikää lähestyvä postin esimies, joka tunnisti kuoret legitiimiksi postitusmateriaaliksi.
 
Seuraavaksi lähdenkin kyselemään aerogrammeja, niillähän on näppärä raportoida intialaisia asemia. Ja kelanauhoja verkkokaupasta, jos lähettelisi nauharaportteja asemille :)
