Here's a picture of the whole loop.

It is square, though the picture makes it appear rectangular to some extent.
It's 1" tubing.  The round base is a cutting board from some kitchen supply
store, some 1 1/4" dowel, and some scrap 2x4 lumber.  It was just knocked
togeter for testing.  Nothing fancy at all.

At some point I will make the clamp points a pivot, and fasten a
counterweight to the loop so it balances in those pivots.  That way it can
be tilted for better nulling.
