Barry, Paul, and all,

First off no one is trying to ban IBOC from being discussed on the IRCA
list. It is very much related to radio. But there have have been
problems as you are well aware of. Everytime IBOC gets discussed
heavily, it ends up in flame wars. I realize there there are only a few
that get involved with this. Because of this last one, we lost David
Gleason. This is my concern losing people and hurting feelings.  Then we
have the issue of IBOC hogging the whole list and nothing else is
discussed. IBOC does have interest. I understand that. But then I get
tons of e mails from others that are ready to quit the list because it
has become an IBOC list. This has not been an easy fence to walk for
either Lynn or I. For a number of years there were no flame wars on this
list and Lynn did not have to ride herd on people. She started the list
back in 1998 to help the DXer to enchange DX tips, QSL info, antennas,
etc. She never planned on moderating the list as a second job.  I very
much appreciate Scott starting the new list to take the weight off the
IRCA list. Try to understand things from Lynn and my perspective. We are
not trying to be unfair to anyone. We are just trying to keep the peace
on the list.
