[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-26

Asians results here were more in line with Colin's version than Dennis' diverse report, with very potent signals from the Japanese big guns but little else. In one of the stranger sunrise enhancement sessions the NHK powerhouses on 594, 693, 747, 774 and 828 all had very good to excellent signals, but the second tier Asians were anemic at best-- even Japanese stations like 531-JOQG.

As usual my session started around 1255 with a check for the 1566-Jammer, and as usual it waon s pestering HLAZ's Japanese service at a fair level. And also as usual it bailed around 1300, leaving a mediocre HLAZ in the clear. 594-JOAK was at excellent strength already at the 1300 TOH, to be joined shortly by 747-JOIB, 693-JOAB and 774-JOUB. Sunrise enhancement around 1330 also brought 828-JOBB up to its best level of the new season (very good), but with the exception of the 1053-Jammer the other Asians were struggling to get out of the noise. 603-HLSA managed a fair signal with KBS2's new female host around 1345 and 738-BEL2 came out of the noise with its Chinese pop music at 1348, but with the exception of these two weak regulars it was strictly an NHK big gun show. 594-JOAK (NHK news at 1355) and 693-JOAB (Chinese lessons at 1347) both went on monster runs late in the session, continuing well past 1400 (long after the other Asians had packed it in). These S9+ signals were easily audible on a stock, unmodified Ultralight radio here, and would have provided easy catches for anyone in the local area searching for their first TP station.

1566 Jammer + HLAZ The pulse jammer keeps its usual 1255 appointment to pester HLAZ, then bails as usual at 1300. Halfhearted jammer testing?
