So Manils is WNW? I always fiqured WSW. As I fiqured Taiwan was about
due West of me. But really who cares? The EWE is not going to be picky
over a few degrees one way or the other.  By taking a compass and
checking the EWE, I find the wire would be directional at about 240
degrees, give or take 10 degrees.
