Paul,
For the last few days Wobblers have been lurking on several frequencies at the same time, more so than usual.
An outburst like you mention was heard on 870 earlier, before the wobbling became more persistent.
Wobblers have not previously been reported on 710 or 1180. While reported on 670, I was never able to catch one when I regularly checked that frequency. I'll have to add these to the list. With Miami Spanish day and night on both 670 and 710, monitoring may prove difficult for me.

2025Z - 670 Rebelde outa Arroyo Arenas, Ciudad Habana wobbled true to unique form. Abruptly started wobbling loudly, wobble rate constant with decreasing pitch/deviation. Wobbled for about one minute then...
...Sig strength fluctuated wildly as if beating against local station, which there isn't. 670 WWFE 'La Fe", Miami no competition today.
Checked other Rebelde outlets - 710 Matanzas and 1180 Villa Maria - found them behaving similarly. After several minutes all settled down.
530 Rebelde, Habana did not participate in Festa de Wobblito y Fluctuacion Maximo.
Sony 2010, AM mode all that was necessary to hear.
