NORTH KOREA

On August 10, North Korea's random number broadcast from 1400 UTC was on
4770 and 5873v kHz. The latter frequency (normally 5870) was observed on
5850 several times last week. Coded messages in five-digit numbers (read in
Korean by the usual female announcer) followed the usual IS (same as Radio
Pyongyang) and opening music.
