[IRCA] TP 6 Jan Victoria version

Quite a mix up this morning, Asian first, then DU, then some Asians coming back for sunrise.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

747 was very close at 1408UT...

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1335UT
747 JOIB English lessons 1408UT; a weaker reprise 1543UT with music box
774 JOUB though pips at 1000UT were weak, this faded up quickly by 1001 with English lessons; also noted at s/off 1540UT with near similar strength 1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1320UT; not quite as strong at sunrise enhancement with woman in Chinese, and music 1542-1547UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 JOIK man in Japanese 1355UT
612 4QR man in DU English, pop music 1534UT; ID'd earlier and later when weaker with parallels; had been heard as early at 1349UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

702 2BL woman talking //612 and leading by about one second 1357UT
828 3GI pop music //612 1535UT
828 JOBB pips 1000UT, English lessons //774
873 JOGB Chinese lessons theme music 1345UT
891 5AN managed to dig out ABC nx fanfare at 1530UT, with "ABC news" (or a cadence thereof) by a man
972 woman talking, might have been Korean?
1053 Korean jammer 1319UT
1116 man talking 1335UT, DU English??
1287 man mumbling 1327UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

846 855 1098 1134 1242 1593

best wishes,

Nick
