[IRCA] TP 28 Mar, Victoria version

There's not many signals coming in at any one time these mornings, but occasionally there's something a little out of the ordinary. I'm starting the recording earlier now as well, and today there were better signals on a couple of NHK2 stations before 1200UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

quality (of DX), not quantity (of signal) today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK. Man in JJ 1341UT
774 JOUB. Man in JJ 1134UT.
828 JOBB. Man in JJ 1145UT.
972 HLCA. Man and woman in KK 1213UT.
1566 HLAZ. Woman in JJ 1341UT.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIB. CC lessons 1338UT.
891 JOHK. Woman talking, then man, //594 and better signal than 594, 1333UT
1287 JOHR. Two men, JJ 1308UT.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

567 JOIK. Pips sneaking through at 1300UT
612 4QR? woman and man talking, DU EE inflection 1205UT, then instrumental mx and a quick fade out.
738 Tahiti? Man in FF? 1137UT
981 CNR1? woman talking with a bit of mx 1331UT, also 1339UT, seemed to be //6175, but pretty rough.
1053 KK jammer 1340UT.
1206 Yanbian? Woman talking, could be KK, especially as it was off channel, 1229UT
1503 JOUK. Woman sounding JJ, and //891 1336UT.
1575 VoA? Man talking, maybe SE Asian language, 1339UT
1593 NHK2? Woman talking, sounded like CC lessons 1340UT, no parallels at just that moment though.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

 837 864 945 1134 1242 1269 1323 1422

best wishes,

Nick
