Re: [IRCA] Perseus WAV Files for Download - LW & MW at Rockworks #4, Oregon

Guy and All,

For those Medium Wave DXers unfamiliar with NDB jargon, Mark's list of Guy's Longwave catches at the Rockwork 4 ocean cliff include the low-powered beacons (and separate DXCC countries) of Minami Tori Shima (343-ML, 1250 watts), Kwajalein Island (359-NDJ) and Samoa (403-TUT, 2000 watts). Pretty good results for a 6.5' x 4' broadband loop on top of an SUV!

Hi Mark,

I'm glad you found some worthy LW NDB catches in my Perseus WAV files! I
know that the Wellbrook loops are supposed to be good performers in the
longwave range, but DXing that band is not my forte so I can't assess the
quality of the captured DX down there.

Perhaps I should post a file or two from the "Deja-Vu" DXpedition last July
from Yachats, Oregon. We were mostly using large DKAZ loops oriented to the
southwest, and there could be some interesting South Pacific NDB signals
lurking there.
