Listened from 1258 to 1510. Conditions down from yesterday, but way up from a year ago on this date. 10/31/2011 only 3 Japanese powerhouse stations heard with the best signal being weak. Below today's report. JOAK 594 still in at 1509. No Tahiti this morning after making a early appearance last night at 0519 utc. 

153   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1258-1303 weak signal with pips at 1300 followed by woman in Russian. HPAW. 10/30/2012

189   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1308 fair signal with man in Russian. HPAW. 10/30/2012

279   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1309 very weak signal with man in Russian. HPAW. 10/30/2012

567   JAPAN, JOIK NHK1 1429 weak signal with man in Japanese followed by music. Moderate splatter.  W-NW ewe. 10/30/2012

594   JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1431 weak signal with music followed by man in Japanese. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 10/30/2012

603   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1443 assuming the station with poor signal and talk. NW ewe. 10/30/2012.

747   JAPAN, JOIB NHK2 1340 fair signal with less splatter than usual. Man in Japanese.  NW-ewe. 10/30/2012

747   JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1345 good signal with woman in Japanese. W-NW ewe. 10/30/2012

828   JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1347 very weak signal.  // 774. NW ewe. Good signal at 1434 W-SW ewe. 10/30/2012

972   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLCA 1348 fair signal with man/woman announcers. Moderate KUFO splatter. NW ewe. 10/30/2012

1134  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLKC 1351 assuming the station with fair signal briefly and moderate splatter with fast talking man. NW ewe. 10/30/2012

1287  JAPAN, JOHR HBC 1437 very weak signal with music and talk. W-SW ewe. 10/30/2012

1323  CHINA, VOR 1405-1412 assuming the station with woman speaker and very weak to weak signal at times. VOR listed 1400-1500 utc (PAL)s

1503  JAPAN, JOUK NHK1 1440 very weak signal & // 594. Some splatter. NW-ewe. 10/30/2012

1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1356 good signal with man singing. Followed by woman in Chinese. NW ewe. 10/30/2012

1575  THAILAND, VOA 1354 very weak signal with man in Khmer. (PALs) NW-ewe. 10/30/2012
