[IRCA] TP for August 23, 2012 /Victoria version

Things pretty much piled up around 1300UT this morning; most audios were still in the "barely there" category, but there were quite a few this morning.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

none

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

738 Tahiti FF talk by man at reasonable level at 1302-1303 UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

1548 4QD "ABC national news" by woman after fanfare at 1300UT slipped through the 1550 splash; mention of India and Pakistan a little later

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

747 JOIB pips at 1300, but that's about all
774 JOUB likely at 1300UT, w/ last of pips flitting through
828 JOBB pips on hour at 1200UT, the only audio then other than 738
1242 JOLF distinctive "cuckoo" pips at 1300UT
1269 woman talking at 1302UT, DU inflection?
1287 JOHR? pip on hour, then man talking afterwards, maybe JJ inflection
1503 DU inflected talk by man 1306UT
1539 sounded like DU inflected talk by man briefly just before 1305UT
1566 instrumental mx at 1305UT; don't know who, as a lot of DU by now in the upper part of the band
1638 woman talking at 1303UT
1701 man talking at 1259UT

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

1476, 1629

best wishes,

Nick
