With an A-index of 25 last night, no wonder Caribbean Beacon-1610 Anguilla was audible (for a change!) around 0330 UTC with Dr. Gene Scott posthumously preaching //6090 shortwave. Often buried in the noise but occasionally rose to fair level. Surprisingly rare catch here over the past several years-was heard regularly back in the '90s. Are they directional at night-anybody know?
