Re: [IRCA] WGBW 1590

On last year's test, everybody had a kilowatt aimed at them. WGBW has a new (directional) pattern that favors Ontario and other NE environs. That little SE lobe is the only reason I was able to get them. There are thousands and thousands of nice patterns at the fccinfo.com site.

never thought to check their pattern. I do admit to thinking, before reading
our e-mail, something along the lines of - betcha it was a slam dunk for Rick -
efore opening your post to the lists. I should never assume anything. I can
nly say I'm glad you heard it last time 'round! Saul

I sat on 1590 from 0005 to 0150 CLT and didn't hear a trace. WGBW's day
attern, as has been alluded to already here, has a deep null almost straight at
e (to protect WPVL and/or KWBG, I would assume). The only thing I can surmise
s to why they came in with a decent signal during the test on 10/16/2010 is
hat conditions to the northeast must have been favorable that night.
